Watching fun, funny movies during breakfast on Sunday mornings has become a ritual for us. And of course, it’s my job to arrange these movies :) Midnight in Paris was also a perfect movie for Sunday mornings. Gil (Owen Wilson) and his future wife arrive in Paris, where they are to be married. One day, Gil discovers a door leading to the Paris of old. Fascinated, Gil walks through the same door every night, exploring the Paris of old. Here, he encounters many people whose lives he’s read about in books. Gil meets and falls in love with Adriana (Marion Cotillard). Midnight in Paris, another of Woody Allen’s urban-themed films, isn’t exactly funny, but I recommend it if you’re looking for an entertaining film.
